Try these 3 simple moves to lose belly fat and be in shape for swimsuit season.

Plank Series

Planks are a great way to workout your abs. Unlike crunches, planks burn more calories by working more muscles. Do regular planks, and side planks to work your abdominals and obliques.

Regular Plank

Start in push-up position. You can choose to lower down to your forearms if you’d like. Keep your core tight and avoid letting your lower back dip. Hold for 30 seconds and rest. Repeat if desired.

Side Planks

Start by laying on your side. Lift your body off the ground by balancing your weight on your forearm, raise your upper arm straight in the air. Make sure to keep your body in a straight line and avoid lowering your hips. Hold for 20 seconds and repeat on the other side. Want to make it harder? Check out these side plank variations.

Pushup Walkouts

Pushup walkouts are an effective full body exercise, however, they focus on strengthening the core and eliminating belly fat. Just like with the plank, start in pushup position. Similar to how an inchworm moves, walk your hands in towards your feet, and then walk them back out, returning to pushup position. Repeat 12 times.

Russian Twists

Another great oblique workout that will help you lose belly fat! Sit down on the ground with your legs in front of you. Lift your legs with your knees bent at a 90° angle and keeping your abs engaged. Holding a medicine ball, weight, or any weighted object, begin to twist your torso from side to side. Do 30 reps on each side.

Crunches aren’t the only way to lose belly fat. Doing these 3 exercises daily or even every other day will help you lose belly fat in no time!
