Carve out time for yourself

If you fail to plan, plan to fail. Carving out a little time in your week and putting that on the calendar will be one step toward protecting that time you have dedicated for self-care.

Treat yourself at least once a week

Plan to treat yourself at least once a week, even if it is something as simple as a mani/pedi, massage, or bubble bath.

Do things that give you a return on your time, such as exercise

The healthier you are, the more energy you will have to take care of everyone else, so choose habits that keep you healthy and give you a return on your time. Eat meals at home instead of getting drive-thru. Or exercise, which gives you a return on your time by boosting your energy and allowing you to get more done in your day.
